Engineering Surveying

Below this page you can see the services we provide in the field of engineering surveying.

CALCULATION OF VOLUME

Calculation of cubic meters or volume of masses is a procedure for calculating the quantities of mining mines, landfills, quarries, embankments, excavations ...

A common problem that investors and contractors face is the inability to control the amount of excavation of material taken from a construction site or material used for embankment.

If geodetic surveying is carried out twice (before and after the works), it is possible to calculate the difference in cubic capacity and thus prevent abuse in terms of quantities.

The basis for well-calculated quantities is a detailed recording of the terrain in horizontal and vertical terms. Proper selection of the recorded detail points produces more accurate results.

MARKING OBJECTS

Marking is the placement of notes and directions that define the positions, layers and levels of elements in the construction so that works can be relied upon during construction.

On the basis of the conditions from the location permit and on the basis of the project documentation, the geodetic expert in the field marks: construction line, regulation line, foundation points, roads, elevation angles, axles, in order to comply with all given conditions. Likewise, upon completion of the works, the Surveyor checks whether all the works and all positions on the object have been performed within the tolerances.

FUNDAMENTAL CONTROL

Foundation control is a mandatory procedure to check the position of the derived foundation and its consistency with the project. When controlling the foundation, the position of the derived state is checked first and foremost, whether it is the same as projected, its dimension and height.

Upon successful completion of the inspection, a foundation control certificate is issued. This is an essential document confirming that the foundation construction was carried out in accordance with the regulation protocol, installed on the construction line and in accordance with the approved project documentation.

The foundation control records should be kept as a mandatory part of the technical documentation at the site and after the completion of the facility for obtaining the operating permit and registration of the facility.

MONITORING OF MOVEMENT OBJECT

Over time, it is necessary to periodically check the monitoring of movement of the object, by measuring the height at the built-in benchmarks over and over again. Comparisons of the results calculate the displacements and deformations that occur during the construction or exploitation of the work objects.

Also, if you are constructing a facility in the city center, with wide excavation or landslide prone areas, it is necessary to monitoring of movement of adjacent units. It is very important for safety reasons (as well as for bad neighbors) to be sure that your work is affecting adjacent objects, and also that you are sure if the settlement has been stopped.

ROAD MARKING

Stakeout the route is the transfer to the terrain of the position, dimensions and height of the projected axes and other elements of roads, lines and other line objects.

The designer designs on the topographic basis of the terrain previously created by the surveyor (the so-called cadastral-topographic plan), and then the surveyor traces the projected condition on the terrain, after which construction works can be performed in accordance with the project.

LEVELING OF TERRAIN

The leveling of terrain and line objects (roads, channels, platforms, etc.) is determined by calculating the falls and transverse and longitudinal profiles in the desired belt. In cooperation with the construction contractor, elements (points) that need to be marked with elevations in the field are defined.
